Help Adult Respite Care (HARC)

This vital program is part of the Helping Elders Live in Place initiative and is offered every Tuesday in the lower level of Rangeley Family Medicine. The program provides a stimulating and safe place for seniors who are suffering from memory loss, isolation or related aging issues requiring full time care.

The HARC program offers their caretakers a respite, a well-deserved day of rest. If you or someone you know is in need of this essential service, or if you are interested in knowing how you may be able to help, please give us a call at 207-864- 4397 ext. 4.

ASCENT Rangeley lakes Rehab News

Ascent has opened a new satellite clinic at the Carrabassett Valley Academy, Capricorn facility. We are scheduling appointments for Tuesday and Thursday mornings or by appointment. Community Awareness Night

Wednesday, November 29th at the Lakeside Theater, 6:30-8:00 pm, light refreshments will be served, and all are welcome.

Children In Action (CIA)

K-5 After school program Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Featuring team sports, fitness, healthy cooking and zumba! Register here: CIA Registration

Youth Flag Football: Sundays at 9am October 22- November 19th. Rangeley Town Field behind the Town Offices.

Community Wellness Wednesdays Includes free gym use for non members and a free Zumba class every Wednesday night!

NEW ZUMBA Classes!

Megan Mcguire is an ACE certified group fitness instructor, ACE certified personal trainer, as well as a Liscenced Zumba, Zumba Kids and Zumba Kids Jr. Instructor. She has a passion for Senior and Youth fitness as well as helping others establish habits. As a busy mom to three children,  Megan enjoys going hiking or snowshoeing (depending on the season), cooking with her kids, and reading. She looks forward to bringing Zumba classes as well as other fitness classes to Rangeley and it's surrounding areas! Megan will be holding kids Zumba on Wednesday afternoons and Adult Zumba on Wednesday evenings. For more information call the fitness center at 864-3055.
