Rangeley Health and Wellness is pleased to announce that Joanne Dickson, LSW has joined the staff at RHW as Behavioral Health Coordinator.
Joanne brings over 23 years of experience as a Licensed Social Worker practicing both in the public schools and state government, with a dedication to serving families, adolescents and the elderly in all areas of their lives. Having spent most of her life coming to her family camp here in Rangeley, Joanne and her husband, Jim moved to the community as a full time residents in June 0f 2017. You may have seen or met Joanne, at the Rangeley School, this past year as she spent many of her days there getting to know the children and their families.
Joanne will be focusing on a community wide assessment and coordination of services in order to evaluate and build programs for all ages in our community. She will be networking with county, state and federal agencies that support, educate and provide services to children, families, and elderly in the Rangeley Region. In addition, Joanne will be providing case management services as needed and will be working with the Rangeley Lakes Regional School to implement Second Step, a social and emotional learning curriculum for grades K-8.

HELP Seniors Programs -
Helping Elders Live in Place
Help Adult Respite Care (HARC)
This vital program is part of the Helping Elders Live in Place initiative and is offered every Tuesday in the lower level of Rangeley Family Medicine. The program provides a stimulating and safe place for seniors who are suffering from memory loss, isolation or related aging issues requiring full time care.
The HARC program offers their caretakers a respite, a well-deserved day of rest. If you or someone you know is in need of this essential service, or if you are interested in knowing how you may be able to help, please give us a call at 207-864- 4397 ext. 4.
Little Kickers Soccer- Wednesdays and Fridays, July 11th - August 17th 9am-11am, ages 3-6
Fit and Fun- Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 10th - August 16th 9am-11am, ages 3-6
Swim Lessons- Monday evenings 4pm and 5pm, July 9th - August 13th, ages 3 and up

We are delighted to welcome Karen Sheingold back to Rangeley Fitness for her 14th summer of yoga! With warmth, humor, clarity and a calm presence, Karen teaches classes that are life-affirming, heart-opening and empowering. Her classes meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9-10:15, from Monday, July 2, through Friday, August 17.
