HEROES HIKE: September 11, 2016
The Rangeley Fitness Center partners with The Summit Project (TSP) for a Heroes Hike on September 11, 2016 up and down Bald Mountain in Oquossoc, Maine. TSP is a nationally recognized, Maine-based service organization, which provides a living memorial to pay tribute to the fallen service members from Maine who died in the line of duty since Sept. 11, 2001. Family members of these fallen soldiers have dedicated stones in the honor of their loved ones. Through these stones their stories and memories live on. Rangeleys Franklin Savings Bank will stand guard over the honor display case, protecting both the stones and the memories of our fallen Maine service member’s mid-July until September 11th. Stones within this display will help share the memories of our fallen, along with the mission of TSP, with members of our community. It will be available for viewing during bank hours.
